What's included in each Nova subscription plan?
Each Nova plan builds on the previous tier, providing:
- Nova Core: Annual servicing, basic fire risk assessment, 1x extinguisher training per year, signage compliance check, service certificate.
- Nova Shield: All Core benefits, quarterly training, enhanced signage checks, implementation support, discounted consumables.
- Nova Elite: All Shield benefits, free emergency call-outs, priority servicing, detailed risk assessment, full minor parts coverage, pressure testing.
- Nova Ultimate: All Elite benefits, full compliance audits, 24-hour support, dedicated fire safety consultant, comprehensive spare parts replacement.
Can I upgrade or downgrade my Nova plan mid-term?
Yes. You can move between plans anytime. We'll pro-rate your billing based on the remaining subscription period. Just request the change through our team via email or phone, and we'll handle the adjustment.
How do I add on Monthly Inspection Contracts or QR Tagging?
To add optional services like Monthly Inspection Contracts or QR/Serial Tagging, please contact us directly. Email us at info@abnova.co.za, WhatsApp us at 066 270 0293, or use our Contact Page. We'll manually add them to your subscription and confirm once completed.
What happens if an extinguisher fails pressure testing?
On the Nova Ultimate tier, any device that fails pressure testing will be replaced at no charge. If a device fails pressure testing, it's deemed unsafe under SANS 1475 standards and must be condemned. We'll mark it in our system, remove it from service, and provide a replacement quote. Any replacement is subject to our terms and conditions.
How are my invoices issued and paid?
Bookings are invoiced automatically upon submission by our internal billing system. You'll receive the invoice via email immediately.
For subscriptions, payments are managed monthly via Paystack. You can update your payment method securely at any time from your portal.
Do you provide once-off (non-subscription) services?
Yes. For one-off inspections, risk assessments, or signage upgrades, please use our Contact Page. Pricing is quoted per engagement rather than per device.
Which geographic areas do you cover?
Our core operations cover Limpopo and Mpumalanga. For larger or multi-site clients, we arrange national coverage with advance planning—just let us know where you need service.
How do I access my service certificates and compliance files?
After each service, your Certificate of Compliance (COC), service certificates, audit readiness files, and reports appear in your portal under Documents. Download or print them anytime.
What training do my staff receive?
We provide on-site extinguisher use and fire safety training. Each session includes a hands-on demonstration, facilitator-issued proof of completion, and refresher materials. Training frequency depends on your plan tier.
How do I book or cancel a site visit?
To book, go to Contact Page, use WhatsApp at 066 270 0293, or call us on 012 345 6789. To cancel, submit a cancellation request through the same contact channels at least 24 hours before the visit.
